About the Club
Conveniently located at Gordon Avenue, Clearview, just off Hampstead
Road, Clearview Bowling Club offers 3 synthetic greens, enabling play
throughout the year, a benefit enjoyed by bowlers from many clubs
during the Pennant season and throughout Winter.
The club was founded in 1963, and has a current mixed membership of
approx. 260 spread across the various categories, plus about 200 “Night
Owlers” who enjoy the evening social “Get On the Green” competition
during the Summer period.
The Club is also renowned for its support of the disabled community,
having been selected as the host for National and International events
for those qualified under the Multi-Disability
Code, and recognised in Parliament for its success in doing so.
The magnificent Club rooms are modern, airy, and offer excellent
facilities for Bowlers and the Community alike, with attractive large
Dining/Function and separate Bar areas. Both provide views across the
greens, which have shady verandahs and pleasant garden surrounds.
Parking your car is convenient, too, with large off-street and additional on-street parking surrounding the club.
Here is a Club that welcomes members and visitors alike – throughout the year. Why not pay us a visit!
Club Management:
Two main Committees manage Clearview Bowling Club –
all facilities are managed by the Board of Management, through various
sub-committees, while all bowls activities and tournaments are managed
by the Bowls Committee, with both President and Vice President sitting
on the Management Board.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Ian Bailey,
provides the liaison and is the prime contact with the Community.
